Pins, stitching or iron-on patches

Guidelines for use

Pins
Using pins can create small holes in the bag, which is why it is recommended to use them only on the cover or sides of the bag, where there is less weight and stress. These holes can allow rainwater to seep into the bag, potentially causing moisture damage and making the lining inside more susceptible to ripping. Please note that such damage is not covered by the warranty.

Iron-on patches
We use high-density polyester that offers enhanced heat resistance. However, when applying heat to patches, it is essential to use a low temperature to minimize the risk of melting the polyester. Ensure that heat is applied only to the patches and not the surrounding area and use a cloth to prevent scorching.

Please note that any damage caused by heat will not be covered under the warranty.

Embroidered Patches with Velcro
Certain velcro can adhere to polyester without the need for sewing and can be used on various parts of SIGR backpacks with your own embroidered patches. For a more permanent solution, you can sew the velcro onto the backpack. It is important to choose a strong polyester thread and use the appropriate needle for polyester. However, please note that the needle will puncture the polyester, which could eventually lead to moisture damage and make the lining inside more susceptible to tearing.

This type of damage is not covered under the warranty.
